Principal's Message

Dear BIS Families, 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year, it's going to be a great year at BIS! Buckeye Intermediate is a great place to learn, teach, and excel!  Our primary goal is to inspire and guide our students to meet their maximum potential. To do so, our teachers and staff are committed to our culture of personalizing instruction, engaging learners, and building confidence. At Buckeye Intermediate, we Believe, Empower, and Achieve!

We teach and celebrate positive social and academic behavior through our PBIS program. The guiding principles of the Buckeye Way are Believe, Empower, and Achieve. These skills are taught, modeled and reinforced in our daily interactions, common language, positive learning environment and celebrations of student success.

About the Principal: 

I am blessed and have been happily married for almost 18 years. I have three amazing daughters, in grades 3, 6, and 9. I was in the classroom for 9 years, and have been serving as an administrator the past 9 years. My undergrad and graduate degrees are from Baldwin Wallace University, and my principal license is through Ashland University. I am currently working towards my superintendent license at Cleveland State University. 

I can't wait to meet the many wonderful students and families that make up Buckeye. Go Bucks!
